I just got my first pair of lunapanties... yes if you've seen me, I have quite a selection of lunagear...why? because I'm a luna-tic. Anyway, I just got these and I have to say I actually only got them for when I have medical tests or stuff like that when I can't wear metal...however (dun dun dun) I couldn't wait for one of those times, now could I? I just HAD to try them out! Well I absolutely love them! I love the wider bands to hold the pad in place... it is awesome! I can't even feel there's a pad in there! It's awesome! Sometimes the snap bothers me (I'm extra sensitive some months) on the pads, but this has nothing but soft fluffy goodness. I had to remind myself to change the insert today because I forgot I had one on!

The one thing I'd like to see is a panty with some tummy control. Not grandma panties but just a little firmer. However, really, I can't complain! They're wonderful! (Posted on 9/20/11)

I can be a bit lazy about changing my pads so always layer up the liners. I found that with the number of liners that I like to use (4 on my heavier days) the lunapads felt a bit bulky. With my Lunapanties I can stack the liners in there and still feel fabulously comfortable. For me Lunapanties are the obvious choice.

Is it possible for a pair of underwear to be cozy? They fit like a normal pair of underwear with an added layer of security. The liner in combination with the sewn-in pad feels barely-there, compared to a typical pad. And, I love that it doesn't get that "sticky" feeling like a disposable pad after a few hours of wear. I LOVE my Lunapanties. They offer such cozy snug-feeling comfort and protection during my period. During that time of the month I want nothing more than to feel comfortable (as much as possible anyway) and that's what I love about Lunapanties. The Lunapanties are the most comfortable underwear I own. If they weren't so expensive, I'd wear them all the time! I LOVE Lunapanties!!! I just wish they came in more colors... besides that they are perfect!! What I like the best about them is that I can wear them when I am on my period and spending the night with my boyfriend, before I always felt uncomfortable wearing a pad in the bed with him, but now I just feel comfortable and sexy!! My body just happens to produce a high level of lubrication, all the time, which is problematic with regular panties as I end up soaked all day and uncomfortable. Lunapanties have turned out to be the perfect solution! They keep my pants dry and I feel much better about my body since I don't have to deal with disposable pantyliners every day (which I loathed.) I have a disability and it can be very hard to get the fit right for sitting in a wheelchair all day. Disposable pads moved when I would, leading me to what felt like constant adjustments. Not with Lunapads and liners...they are always a secure fit and I don't itch from maxi pad adhesive anymore.
And I always felt weird about the piles of bleached garbage I threw out month after month.

My Autistic daughter has been wearing Lunapanties since she began menstruating. She has used them over and over and her lunapanties have survived hundreds of washes. They are comfortable like regular underwear and she doesn't get freaked out by the sight of blood because of the black color. (Posted on 4/13/10)
