I've been using cloth pads for almost 10 years with no complaints. But I am a total convert to these Lunapanties! Like other posters have mentioned, they don't more or shift around like the pads can, and you can adjust the liner further forwards or back to suit your needs. I adore my magenta hipsters. Like other reviewers, I ordered a size down. My hip measurement varies from 39-40" but I ordered a medium and they're just right. I wear them at the start and end of my period when flow isn't too heavy, especially at night. They're also great for doing yoga at home and I'd wear them as back-up for my Diva Cup too if I had enough pairs! I do find that the non-elastic leg means that I sometimes show a little cheek beneath the back leg band by the end of the day, but I haven't found that they ride up at all. Frankly it's nice to have a break from elastic and the non-binding fit combined with the soft fleece lining have made them my go-to undies when I just need some extra comfort, period or not. I recently received my hipster panties and like recent reviewers, have to agree that the fit is very large. I normally wear a medium panty but opted to go by the measurement chart and ordered the large. They were huge. They have shrunk some in the wash (if I had a dryer I could probably shrink them more) so I can use them but they do shift around some still. I would definitely order a medium the next time around.

Having said that, they are super comfortable and very cute. I got them as a back up to my Diva Cup for heavier flow days and find it great to just change the liner when needed.

For me, as just a back up I think the regular LunaPad will be more fitting though I do have plans to order a second pair of hipsters in the right size because they are so cute. I gave it four stars due to the sizing issue but otherwise I highly recommend the Hipster. (Posted on 11/23/11)

Quite possibly the BEST underwear ever made! These are so comfortable that sometimes I wear them when I don't have my period. These are especially good for when you are waiting for your period to start or at the very end of it. Also great for when you ride your bike! (Posted on 9/15/11)

The panties are good quality, but they are quite large and stretch more throughout the day. I measured, followed the size chart, and almost got a medium. Thankfully I didn't because the size small was even too big. I'm keeping them to wear at night, but they stretch too much for during the day use. I also would have preferred them to be more boyshort-like. I found that they rode up pretty bad like a bikini would, but that could be because they were so big. (Posted on 4/29/11)

The first time I ordered these lunapanties they had a thin cotton lining in them. The second time I ordered them they had a thicker one. I asked the ladies at lunapads why this is and they said they changed the style but were going back. Today I received an order of lunapanties and they had the thicker padding in them. When I asked about it this time I was told that it depends on who their supplier is if the pad will be thick or thin. I am still going to keep them because there is no other product like them on the market but it is extremely disappointing. I wish I had bought more before when the pad was thinner. I had been seeing advertisements for Lunapads in BUST and Bitch magazines for a while, and finally visited the website. After reading many testimonials I started warming up to the idea of Lunapads and started by ordering these hipster Lunapanties. WOW, what a difference! I just had my first period since buying them and I didn't want to take them off, they were so incredibly comfortable! I just came back to buy the DivaCup Kit and two more pairs of Lunapanties as well as a regular Lunapad. I hesitated to get these because of the price, but after trying them out, ordered more so that I can wear them through the week. They are worth it. Being perimenopausal, I never know when there will be spotting, and my periods are irregular. With a good supply of this wonderful underwear, I never have to worry. They fit great, and are more comfortable that my old undies. When I get a period, I use the divacup with them. So I am comfortable and worry-free every day of every month. Thanks for great products! I have several pairs of the hipsters. I love them so much, that I use them day to day - in my 20s, I used to wear a lot of thongs, materials that were not exactly breathable. Once I turned 30, things changed. I found that many things irritated my skin "down there" and went looking for an alternative - both to pads (yes, I do own an organic lunapads kit that is excellent), as well as undies. I HEART LUNAPADS everything! These undies are fantastic for day to day - the organic materials suits me well, do not irritate, do not make me itch or uncomfortable... and when on my period, they work like a charm. The hipster Lunapanties are so cosy! I wasn't sure when I first ordered them if they'd be comfortable and sexy, but boy are they ever. These panties are so comfortable. I love wearing these at night during my period or when I don't want to wear a pantyliner on lighter days. The only thing is on the first pair I ordered the leg openings were a little tight but the luna gals sent me a new pair that fixed that problem. I am just so amazed at how comfortable these underwear are! I actually wanted to get the bikini cut because that's what I normally wear, but they didn't have my size at the time so I went with these. They really don't ride up! And they are so very soft and comfortable. I use mine as a backup for a Diva cup. I have 3 liners that I use so that I don't need to wash the underwear every time - I just need to change my liner. I'm also impressed at how well they wash out. Really great product! All I really can say is I'm in love. I've never really written reviews before, but I just love these underwear. Very comfortable, they don't ride up or shift around. The way they are made helps to disguise the fact that you are wearing a pad--so smart. And they held the liners in place very well--held them against your body, no sagging, wow!. I didn't think it was possible to be that comfortable during your period. They are so soft and are just a real treat and a comfort for that time of the month. I just wish I'd grown up with these! The one thing I've noticed with Lunapads is that they tend to wear too far back for me; I need more coverage in the front. This is true for these underwear too, but the good thing is they don't shift, so I can pull the liners forward and that works a lot better for me than the pads. I had a bunch of the bikini underwear and had no issue with those. I thought this would be a fun cut and, after purchasing a couple, my bikini ones are obsolete.
