I just got to use my Diva Cup for the first time since purchasing it. I have a really light flow, which made using tampons painful and with the chaffing that comes along with disposable pads I felt like I was in a no win situation. Not to mention, I live in an apartment with one bathroom, that I happen to share a male roommate. I dreaded having to hide the wrappers and used period paraphernalia by shoving it to the bottom of the trash can. The time when the dog dug out a used pad out of the trash and brought it into the living room to chew up was really embarrassing and, well that's another story. Not only is the Diva Cup incredibly comfortable and easy to use, but it's discrete and I never have to worry about the above mentioned dog incident ever happening again. Yay! Thank you! - Megan

"I have been using Lunapads as a back-up for my DivaCup for three years now!  I am so glad to have discovered this product.  Lunapads really stood up to the test on my recent trip to New Zealand!  Hiking pretty much everyday for two months, I am so glad I didn't have to worry about bringing my used disposables with me on the trails.  Mainly I used my DivaCup, but having a heavy flow, I always wear a Lunapad or Lunapanties for extra protection.  I would sneak behind a tree in the morning and rinse out the DivaCup, and then once again in the evening.  I never had to worry about leaking onto my clothes.  The Lunapads and Lunapanties I have are over three years old and still holding up strong!  Anyways I just wanted to thank you for your product and I hope every woman out there gets the chance to try your fabulous products!" - Jamie

I began using The DivaCup about a year and a half ago after hearing about it in Bitch magazine.  At first, I found it very difficult to get used to and hard to put in, especially if I was too dry and it became a bit painful.  I really, *really* wanted to give it a shot, though, as I knew the positive environmental impact would be huge, not to mention the money I'd save and the convenience it would afford me.  Well, I went back to your website and read through the tips that were offered there, and kept trying.  I've found that if I insert it in the shower, my body is just moist enough to make it easy.  Otherwise, my own blood is enough to make insertion simple and comfortable!  I also found that I was putting it much too high up and simply inserting it a bit lower did the trick. Anyway, needless to say I am a total convert and so happy that I've gotten into a rhythm with my Keeper!  I would encourage anyone else who is considering alternative menstrual products -- or anyone currently having difficulty with the DivaCup -- to keep at it and use the diva cup regularly.  I'm not exaggerating when I say that this changed my life!  I now never have to worry about having tampons in my bag for *emergencies* and feel good knowing I'll never have to buy another pad or tampon in my life!  Keep up the great work and all of us happy Keeper/Diva Cup users will keep spreading the word! (P.S. I also use Lunapads occasionally, but really more for fun because they feel like I'm wearing flannel pajamas all day - they're fantastic!) – Rachel M.

"Thank you again for your kind words! I appreciate it so much! I actually received my DivaCup on the first day of my period, and was able to use it right away. It is a bit tricky getting used to using it, but it really has helped quite a bit already! I've noticed a decrease in the severity of my cramps, and have little to no leakage. This is wonderful, since I have an incredibly heavy flow that simply feels icky to walk around with! It will take some getting used to, but I believe that if I stick to it I'll have it down in no time! I most certainly see an improvement already! It is my 4 month anniversary with my DivaCup and I can honestly say I won't go back to disposables. I can't remember how I found out about your product; but I wanted to try it since part of my job is to board cargo ships and never felt comfortable disposing used female products on board (usually they don't have a trash can in the bathroom, also special toilet systems that don't tolerate unnatural items…so they would definitely know I broke the toilet. Just have to make sure they have soap and TP.). I am happy to be free from the shackles of disposables - no more waste, no more pockets full of tampons and no more emergency drug store runs.
